Make lots of friends (especially for the first one-year). It's surely true, especially when you have to learn new languanges. To make it more perfect, find new local boyfriend (s) too....hahahaha.
Make papers/journals as your bedtime reading.

Keep the spirits up and focus on your work.
Meaning that you have to do what you like best or you will loose interest soon. Don't forget to always pray too.
Do not look over your shoulder too often to check on others.
It can't be applied to me especially when I have some handsome team mates :p
Ignore the "beat 3-year-barrier"
So, finish it within 2 years then....just kidding hahaha

The best part of further your study outside your country. You can learn lots of new things, culture, food, guys, scenery and others. Finally, it will make you thankful for all you've got (trust me). Not to forget, practice my photography skills too, for sure !!!
